Street Pharmacy is a reggae-rock band hailing from Welland Ontario that formed in 2006. Since its inception, Street Phamacy has released 5 full length albums and toured Canada relentlessly, spreading their unique hybrid of reggae grooves, 90s Golden Age hip hop inspired lyrical flow and alternative rock edge. In 2009, Street Pharmacy was featured on the popular Much Music show disBAND and were successful in becoming co-winners of the series. Street Pharmacy’s “Pharmanomics” EP is the first of two installments that involves some of Canada’s hottest new and most legendary producers. On this first 5 song EP, primary songwriter and vocalists Ryan Guay teams up with fellow producers Will Marr & John Doherty (ex-illScarlett, Trouble & Daughter), Ian Blackwood (The Artist Life, Jersey), Adam Tune (Keys N Krates) and James Robertson (Skye Sweetnam, Down With Webster) to create a unique blend of genre bending reggae, pop, rock, folk and hip hop.
